Disc 1 Wurlitzer Jukebox Factory Tour Film

Brief Synopsis of DVD: This vintage film focuses on an in-depth
tour of the former Wurlitzer factory located at
North Tonawanda, N.Y. The film starts with a color sequence introducing the
factory and its surroundings. Then, a black-and-white kinescope shows the
different stages of production of coin-operated phonographs. This rare DVD is a
terrific find for jukebox and phonograph enthusiasts and provides a great deal
of educational value for a variety of teaching purposes. Total running time is
approximately 41 minutes.
Remember the days of quality American
manufacturing practices? This DVD is a wonderful look at the assembly line
construction of the quality jukeboxes Wurlitzer was famous for during this era.
The DVD also takes a look at the pianos, organs and accordions Wurlitzer was
manufacturing at the time. This is a must watch for record collectors.
