And for the finale, youre taken on a journey, courtesy of Dr. Frederick Cook, through the REAL North Pole. (Dont tell the kids, but Santa doesnt actually live there..) We give you a full-fledged liberal arts approach to Christmas!

A Visit to Santa

A Visit to Santa

Produced: 1963

Length: 12 Minutes

This early 1960s video about visiting Santa is a look back into a child’s fantasy. Going to the North Pole to visit the jolly old fellow was a dream for many kids, but this video makes it come to life for those youngsters out there. Even though this film depicts Santa as traveling around in boats and cars, going to parades, etc., his mysterious power is held in the minds of those who believe in him. A tad bit humorous to the adult eye, ‘A Visit to Santa’ seems dated; however it is a fun look at how Santa was seen in the 1960s.
