Working men of all countries, unite! Communism was a concept put forward first by the German philosopher and political economist, Karl Marx. The straightforward idea of a classless system was the basis of much strive through out the countries of the world, particularly Russia and the United States during the 1960s. Calling communism as an attempt at world conquest and a challenge to freedom loving peoples of the world, the film does nothing to hide its pro American stance during the height of the Cold War. Important for its use of propaganda and understanding the mind set and fears of the government during the 1960s, Communism, is a historically significant film worth studying.
