Private Life of a Cat

Private Life of a Cat

Produced: 1947

Length: 22 Minutes

Any parents knows the exhilirating feeling of becoming a new mother or father. With a clear focus on the world of the cats, as the picture is devoid of humans, the film makes it seem like the world being divulged is really, The Private Life of A Cat. A mother cat gives birth to a litter of kittens and from there, instinct drives her to care for the kittens, nursing and cleaning them, with occasional help from the papa cat. Worth the viewing for the experimental camerawork (for the time), and the penetrating story of two cats embroiled in the dynamics of a new family.
