Disc 1 Washington DC District of Columbia Tourism Film (1946)

Brief Synopsis of DVD: The Greater National Capital Committee of the Washington Board of Trade developed this travelogue film from the 1940 in stunning color, providing some of the most rare color footage of Washington DC available. This movie is not available anywhere else. In my opinion, DC looked cleaner in this film than it does now. Get it now on DVD!

Included is approximately 10 minutes of rare footage from the Parade of Nor and approximately 10 minutes of footage from the Parade of Krewe of Rex. There is no sound with these recordings, as the amateur equipment of the day did not record sound.
